Saw them in Richardson, Texas a few years ago. They were on stage before Better Than Ezra. They were fucking terrible and BTE was making fun of them during their performance.

That was me, but in my defense I originally thought the concert was at Newport (where it’s been since I can remember) where the same beer is $4.

Not entirely related to the punt conversation, but Pitt under Walt Harris had this ridiculous swinging gate formation on extra points. Once got two or three procedural penalties in a row, missed a 30 yard extra point, and lost 14-12 against aTm.

aTm had the first halftime band I could actually hear in the stadium.

Also for whomever told me LC Pavilion has expensive drinks, eight bucks for a twenty ounce beer at a concert isn’t really that bad at all.

i know, i know…but i still just can’t get over how dumb that is. you have this formation that seriosuly every team runs because a) it’s almost impossible to block a punt and b) is so much better at putting players in the right lanes it makes no sense whatsoever to abandon it.

I know I call him Pope Urban, but the idea that he could sway the president and ADs of the ACC to take another school is absurd.

IIRC, Syracuse would have already been in the ACC for 10 years by now if it hadn’t been for the governor of Virginia.

Basically, Syracuse was going to leave and was a defendant in the original suit. The VA gov said Va Tech had to be included if the ACC took teams, so they switched Cuse out for Va Tech, and Syracuse jumped from one side of the courtroom to the other.
