I’m pretty sure Goodell isn’t an attorney. I think his background is in PR. Stern and Bettman are lawyers though.

And I say the 29 million represents one dollar for every concussion that occurred in the season.

A pre-season nobody cares about or likes. In the end the NFL hurt itself more with the ref lockout than the one with the players.

In contrast, both the NBA and NHL had long lockouts to get contracts that they might very well have been able to get without losing any regular season games. Roger is just a better lawyer than Dave or Gary it seems. Can hardly wait for that new NHL lockout though coming down the road. Thanks pathetic hockey fans for coming back in droves. How hard is it to just stay home and watch the game on TV, you rubes?
