Why is this Canadian News Anchor Miming Fellatio on Air?

I was shocked when I learned Canadian dollar was stronger. Come on now, America. It’s Canada! How are you gonna let them beat you?

I’m pretty sure it’s almost a 1:1 to exchange rate right now. But yeah, only ten years ago it was about 1 US dollar: 1:30 Canada. Our friendly neighbors to the North are catching up. It must be all Stephen Harper’s doing.

As to the news anchor: 1) wow 2) her accent is so stereotypically Canadian…it’s almost hard to believe that is her real accent.

Also, I miss the days when news anchors did things like read the news instead of regaling us with their opinions and stories about their personal lives.

To say that we are closer to victory today is to believe, in the face of the evidence, the optimists who have been wrong in the past. To suggest we are on the edge of defeat is to yield to unreasonable pessimism. To say that we are mired in stalemate seems the only realistic, yet unsatisfactory, conclusion. On the off chance that military and political analysts are right, in the next few months we must test the enemy’s intentions, in case this is indeed his last big gasp before negotiations. But it is increasingly clear to this reporter that the only rational way out then will be to negotiate, not as victors, but as an honorable people who lived up to their pledge to defend democracy, and did the best they could

What’s amazing is that the haircut on Kevin up there passes as anchor-hair in Canada yet their dollar is stronger than ours.
