The Kansas Jayhawks Finally Have a Reason to Dance Again

The Kansas Jayhawks finally have reason to dance again after last night’s destruction of Kansas State at home, and this isn’t just any dance you would see at the Topeka YMCA. Back in December, Ben McLemore did an awesome dance back when the Jayhawks beat Ohio State.
We can date this one as well. After the Oklahoma State game? Nope. After TCU? Home Jerseys, and not unless they are sadists, nope. After Oklahoma, again on the road? No.
Yeah, this was definitely blowing off the energy of getting back in the win column, on a night when Ben McLemore went for 30 points. Now, if Kansas can get as many McLemore shots as dance moves, they should get back on track to win the Big XII title.

MSU VS Michigan tonight. First time both teams have faced each other while being both in the top 10 since forever.

It finally took Johnson to get into foul trouble to get him out of clogging up the offense.
Now, if Kansas can get as many McLemore shots as dance moves, they should get back on track to win the Big XII title.
They still have to go to OSU, ISU, and Baylor. That TCU loss will bite them in the ass as it gave a free game away to the contenders.

I wouldn’t mind McLemore getting drafted by the Pistons this year, but I don’t think they’ll have high enough of a pick.

He has as sweet of a shot there is. However, he has shown he can’t create out of a half court offense with the dribble. I’m not entirely sure he is aware he has a left hand.
/deluding myself into him coming back for another year.

There was a decent amount of talk about taking KSU +9 yesterday. Yikes.

Yeah but you know he’s going to be out there for 30 minutes against Texas this weekend. It’s not like Nadir Tharpe is a good player, but he’s twice as effective as EJ is right now.
McLemore/NBA: I really hope someone beats the odds and jumps Charlotte for the #1, because you know the Bobcats are taking him without question. Be fun to see him get to Cleveland: Irving/McLemore/Thompson/Miles/Varejao is a not-terrible lineup.

“What’s that noise?”
“He’s, uh, singing sir.”
“They’re a very musical people.”

Speak for yourself

Bobcats or Magic will have a good shot at him.

Exactly. I don’t trust either of them on the road.
Also, KSU is the closest thing KU has to a rival now. Will KU get up for the other games? Time will tell.

I’ve been hiding from TyWebb all day. That is still an amazing line. As always, Vegas knows their shit.

Without bothering to look I’m going to say they have the Astros at around 62 wins.

Was this before or after the Lowrie trade?

Ok. I have no clue what the line will be for Texas and I have no idea what KU is now. At all. 88 is right, if Johnson is back to 30 minutes, that’s 8 turnovers, 8 additional stalled offensive series, and a litany of cursewords out of my mouth.

If K-State was a +7-9, then Texas has got to be double digits, right? Sounds like their getting Kabongo back but the Longhorns look like they’ve kind of quit on ‘ol Mack.
February 12th, 2013 at 4:08 PM
List of who I would rather see play point than EJ: Dick Vitale, a high school cheerleader that sort of understands the game, Jeff Withey, Big/Baby? Jay, my freshman year English teacher.
We can just keep Tharpe there I guess.
February 12th, 2013 at 4:08 PM
Oops, make that ‘ol Rick, of course.
