A buddy of mine has a theory that you should keep an unopened bottle of liquor in your car. if you get pulled over for a DUI, shut off the car, get out and drop the keys, open the bottle and start drinking. that way, you’ll get an open container, but you can say the alcohol on your breath is from the drink you just had.
just a theory at this point, hasn’t been attempted
