LeBron James Played Catch With a Heat Fan [Video]
LeBron James scored 30 points in 31 minutes, hitting 10 of 11 field goal attempts last night. He also had 6 assists, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks as the Heat beat the Clippers, 111-89 in Miami. Sometime in the middle of that clinic he found time to show a fan how to make a fundamentally sound chest pass. If the fan comes back to the next home game he’ll teach him off-balance cross-court passes out of the tripe-team to shooters in rhythm. That lesson will last years and consist of a great amount of genetic engineering and time in the weight room.
Here are some more highlights of LeBron doing flawless basketball things. The Clippers were playing with Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and Chauncey Billups for the first time in a long time. Miami connected on 15 of 27 three-pointers.

That fan went to the Super Bowl on Sunday, had a chance basketball conversation and took a picture with Jeff Van Gundy yesterday morning, and winds up playing catch with LeBron James in the middle of a game last night. All of this on one visit from Honduras. Cool, Cool, Cool!

Honestly at this point I’m not sure there’s any athlete I enjoy watching more than Lebron and I’m not even a huge NBA fan. Just incredible.
Also, Miami really really needs to switch back to those uniforms permanently.

As an NBA uniform aficionado, I agree wholeheartedly
Just give him the MVP now before contrarians argue Durant
Speaking of MVP, he’s on pace to shatter Jordan’s mark

It really is amazing, I’ve never seen anyone just completely dominate the entire court like he’s doing. Defense, scoring, passing, hustle, its fucking incredible.
If he’s hitting 3′s like that the other team should just forfeit.

Last 4 games he’s got 123 points on 59 shot attempts. Just has an incredible feel for the game and his shot selection is impeccable. He’s shooting 59% on 2′s and 42% on 3′s.

Melo is my MVP candidate because he’s my favorite player, on my favorite team, and they’re playing at a high, unexpected level by most. It’s hard to argue that someone should win it over LeBron the way he is playing right now. The game is easy to him………..I know there are going to be haters who will come in and say this is nothing but a contrived PR stunt (for whatever reason he would need to do so). But this seems to me to be the more mature version of the LeBron who used to perform the antics with his teammates in Cleveland. The dude has won his ring, and now he’s fully relaxed. It is fun to watch.

If anyone besides LeBron wins an MVP for the next 5 years, the award is a joke. There’s no one close.

The award already is a joke. See: Nash, Steve
