Only a few SEC teams practiced over-signing; they are Bama, Georgia and Arkansas. The other schools, like Florida, have had a policy against over-signing. That’s why the SEC passed the new rule which prohibits schools from signing more that 25, unless they count some early enrollees back to the previous class. Either way, the recent SEC rule change prohibits a school from going over the 85 limit, period. The main offender, when it came to over-signing, was Alabama, Nick Saban will take advantage of every loophole he can find, that gives him an advantage. His latest was forcing nonproductive players to take medical scholarships or transfer to smaller schools. Saban cleaned his roster of players who had no chance of developing in to the player they were recruited to be.

So, you ignorant people, making such an ignorant comment, educate yourself on the facts and quit trying to make the SEC look like a bunch of rogue schools. You’ve gotten you clock cleaned by us and you just need to own up to reality – SEC football rules and will continue to do so.

OSU will have a small class too. Could be as low as 14-16. But I’m guessing there will be some “attrition” and it will actually be about 20-21.

MICH is still offering kids from GA and other southern states, but that’s a long haul to get a kid to leave the South for Michigan, and Southern boys don’t like to leave mama, and more importantly, mama doesn’t like them to leave.
