TCU Players Celebrated the Upset Win Over Kansas by Skipping Class, Having Cars Towed and Slapped with Boots

TCU 62, Kansas 55 resulted in a late night of partying in Fort Worth and presumably, many hangovers. From the Star-Telegram:

While Johnson was excited for his team, he had also moved on because one of those messages he received was that some of his players had missed class Thursday, while a couple others had their cars towed or slapped with a boot.
“Did I think some of this stuff could happen today? No question,” he said. “But when this program is where it needs to be and we’re winning and competing at a high level consistently, I won’t have to worry about this stuff. Today, I’m not very happy and that’s just the way it is. Right now, this is a teaching point.”

Settle down coach, this was their NCAA Championship. I fully expect TCU to lose at home Saturday to West Virginia. It won’t get any better for the Horned Frogs this season, and probably not even next. [Star Telegram]

my dad lives in Ft Worth, not the city part, but the burbs, but still Ft Worth. It’s not really any different than any of the rest of the Dallas/Ft Worth 10000 square mile metroplex. Houses, roads, etc.
There’s stupid shit in downtown Ft Worth, but there’s stupid shit everywhere.

There’s a zero percent chance it’s shitter than Bridgeport CT. Or New Orleans.
