Definitely helps the run game, especially if run out of the pistol. The pistol is the most efficient downhill running offense in football right now. It was designed to get the ball to the back quicker (4 yd abbreviated shotgun snap) and go downhill (rb behind qb, while shotgun with rb beside qb is built for east/west running)

Curious to see if the Dolphins incorporate more running type stuff for Tannehill. I doubt it, given the coaching staff and the fact that he’s not quite as fast as some of the other guys (though obviously not slow).

with Reggie Bush, not sure they need Tannehill to run. Just get him some more wide receivers. Hartline and Bess shouldn’t be your first two options.

If “the mold” is that simplistic, Tannehill, Griffin, and Luck are all in it. All “can” run the read option

You see more of Kaep because he tucks and run, while Wilson uses his speed to scramble and throw, a big difference in their games
