It’s hilarious to me, how stealing Apple products usually results in grand theft (felony) vs. stealing Windows products would usually fall under the $500 limit and would result in a misdemeanor.

Friend had his Mac stolen, but had a tracking program on it that enabled the webcam. He had photos of the fatass who stole it and the address it was at, but shockingly, LAPD did nothing. They were too busy handing out tickets for riding a bicycle through a crosswalk. Great guy, that Tony Villar

Some punk stole my Apple laptop at LAX in the security line and tried to get away with it…with an LA Sheriff’s kiosk on the other side of the conveyors. If he had stolen my work laptop, which I was also traveling with, he would have gotten off with a misdemeanor (lawyers, correct me if I’m wrong).
