Alex Collins: Arkansas Recruit’s Mother Reportedly Stole His NLI Paperwork and Left the School

Bret Bielema’s top recruit is in limbo. Alex Collins, a four-star running back from Plantation, Florida, committed to Arkansas over Miami on Monday. It seems his mother did not agree with the decision. Collins missed his scheduled ceremony. ESPN is reporting this was because his mother took his National Letter of Intent and left the school.

Perhaps mother knows how much credit Barry Alvarez deserves for Wisconsin’s success? Did a window open for Al Golden?

They will get one eventually if Bielema wins enough games to stick around 4 or 5 years. There was some shady stuff that he was trying to pull in Madison, pre- and post-marriage. It will catch up to him eventually.
