Calvin Klein Model Rated As 11th Best Male Model in World Is Choosing to Play Football at SMU Instead

Myles Crosby is a 6’3″, 205 pound senior safety at Colleyville Heritage High School in Texas. He is also one of the top male models in the world, rated as 11th best model in the world according to models.com. According to one of the experts interviewed by the Dallas News, Gerald Frankowski of the Kim Dawson Agency, Crosby could easily earn a six-figure salary next year as a male model.

Crosby, however, is choosing the indentured servitude of college football over making that money for posing with young women.

“I have a passion for football and I want an education,” Crosby said. “This modeling crap could only last another year and then I’d have no education and never get to play football. I’d regret it for the rest of my life.”

I really dont understand why he cannot do both in some capacity. I am no expert on the day to day demands of the male model but certainly seems like an easy compromise.

I’m not going to pretend to understand the NCAA rules, but if high school kids can sign for millions of dollars, fail at baseball, and then go back to play quarterback in college, shouldn’t this kid get to?

I don’t think SMU is in a traditional college town.

The same people who go to schools like Tulane or USC go to SMU. People who want the city feel but the college experience. TCU is the only other school we considered at our level in the area.
