Glenn Robinson Hit Jordan Hulls in the Face, but it Didn’t Look Intentional

Completely missed amid the Trey Burke performance in Bloomington Saturday night, where Victor Oladipo and Cody Zeller did athletic things to beat Michigan:
Did Glenn Robinson of Michigan punch Indiana guard Jordan Hulls? Dan Dakich, the ESPN announcer (who played at IU in the early 80s), tweeted about the punch, and thought it warranted a suspension:
Just saw Robinson’s punch of Jordan Hulls..has to be suspended

I don’t see it. Robinson is clearly pulling his arm away from Christian Watford, and he couldn’t possibly have known where Hulls was. So as Robinson jerks his arm away, and Hulls keeps going … WHAP! Totally unintentional, in my opinion.
Robinson has tweeted that he didn’t throw a punch:
Just want to make it CLEAR that i did not purposely punch Hulls in the face, my arm was pushed causing the incident.

The fan wearing the Indiana jersey gets what he deserves for running out onto the court like that.

If you have to ask whether it was a punch or not then no it was not.

Sure looked like a punch to me, but I agree that there is not enough video proof for a suspension. The arm just might have been pushed.
