Eh, I thought Joe did very well especially with all the crap he has gotten the last few years about not being ‘Elite’.

With that said, paying him $20M per is laughable and without Ed Reed or Ray Ray around….I doubt we will see Joe ever win another SB

What would Chip Kelly want with Flacco? I don’t think Kelly is going all in on a mobile QB but Flacco is basically on the opposite end of the spectrum.

Chip Kelly’s offense is about equal parts pace and running QB. He can run his offense without having a running QB as long as he maintains pace. It’s moot, because the Ravens are giving Flacco his money.

The Bills have too much tied up in Fitzpatrick (not to mention making Mario Williams the highest paid defensive player in league history).

If the Ravens let Flacco go they’re braindead. This isnt like letting Dilfer go in 2001. They have a young QB who has won a title, they could be competing for Super Bowls over the next decade – why introduce an element of QB instability. They’re not a defense-first team anymore. Give him whatever he wants.

The Cardinals can release Kevin Kolb by March 1 without having to pay him additional money. That’s 1. Philly is another off the top.

I agree… I think… but do you think the rest of the league values him as much? Or is in a position to pay a lot of money for a QB?

How do the Buffalo/KC caps look, and would Flacco really go those places? Might take a bit of bluffing to get the money, especially with a cheaper alternative in Alex Smith available to those who haven’t ever seen Smith play. Wouldn’t mind a post recapping teams needing QBs, and which would be in the market for a high-priced QB.
