I can’t tell if Olidipu is insanely explosive here or the inside help was snoozing. If you are the white kid on the backside you gotta force a kick out to the baseline shooter.

I should mention another big part of Oriakhi’s sulking was the signing of Drummond. He was not happy about the loss of minutes or attention

Oriakhi was the elder statesman on the team, and was supposed to be the leader with Kemba gone. Instead he spent the year sulking. His father somehow got it in his head that Calhoun was sabotaging Oriakhi by running the offense primarily through Lamb and Napier. Oriakhi became passive and distant, playing with none of the energy that allowed him to physically dominate in the 2011 run.

My booster friends (second hand info, but no reason for them to lie) said Oriakhi’s father was constantly calling Calhoun to complain, and at one point even claimed he thought Calhoun was undermining him so he wouldn’t declare for the draft.

As for Napier, he’s ok, no real problem with him not making the top 50. Was just shocked to see AO ranked ahead
