Durant is the leading scorer. The bulk of the scoring is overstating it when Westbrook is averaging about 23 a game while for the most part carrying more overall responsibility than Durant. There have been many games where Durant has faded during portions of the game while Westbrook has carried the scoring load. The only thing that keeps Durant from facing the kind of defenses that Melo faces on a nightly basis is Westbrook. For that reason, Westbrook has to always be aggressive. He is a threat whether he’s hitting or not.
