Still enjoying it a lot, though I absolutely hate the trope of “other government agency comes in, fucks everything up with brazen agents who are bumbling idiots.” Shit like that should preclude shows from winning awards, far and away the laziest procedural plot crutch.

That and “will they, won’t they” shit that grinds comedy to a halt on any sitcom. Awful.

I will definitely watch The Americans.

Did everyone watch and enjoy The Americans last night?

It was quite good, save for the FBI agent wife. Maybe a product of her lines, but I thought the show came to a screeching halt when she tried telling her husband he was being paranoid. Just not well delivered at all.

I spend more time here per week than I do in the presence of other people. That might not be normal…

Probably not… but I think everyone has their own personal opinion of what normal is. I certainly do things that make people think I’m weird or not normal. We don’t necessarily have to conform to society and all be the same, but I think insanity would be this idea of not functioning in society. White is a very privileged human being. What if we all were born in a remote village in Sudan? We certainly wouldn’t likely be commenting on this board, and we certainly wouldn’t likely be worried about what “normal” is. We may not even be alive. My theory is that a lot of people don’t find themselves and find fulfillment in the things they do, and from that they generate problems in their head to overcome.
