Actually, during one portion of the match, Li Na lost control of her racket. She claimed she has never had that problem before, but the heat from the Australian sun caused her to lose her innate Kung Fu grip.

I think Azarenka is sour b/c the crowd hated her and was all rooting for Na, due to Azarenka pulling that bogus injury timeout in that semi-final, no? I think they can do this b/c a well-read tennis fan reading that publication knows that Azarenka isn’t a fan favorite, whereas Na has some widespread support.

She’s sour because she faked an injury in the semifinal to compose herself and possibly get some coaching. This has the tennis community in an uproar. Na is “sweet” because by all accounts she’s one of the nicest people on the tour.
