Considering that that was a brief fad for most of the country it makes the movie look very dated. I would still give Brook Langton and Heather Graham the serious though.

Probably not. In Swingers he looks like he was on a diet of cocktails and cheetos. Now he looks more like every meal he eats is at least 1,500 calories.
