I disagree. Amare looks good on offense but I’d rather he be the focus of the 2nd unit. You can easily stagger the 3 so Amare’s 20-25 min is mostly without without the other 2.

Woodson has stated that he doesn’t see Amar’e being anymore than a 30 minute a game player for the rest of his career anyway, so the stagger is exactly how this will all work out. Lebron should have a field day against the Knicks. Bosh can pull Chandler from the hoop, and the Knicks don’t have a decent option to put on Lebron. Shumpert is probably the most capable rotation guy, but he’s 6’5″. This is why I advocate acquiring a SF who defends and makes open threes

There were key periods in both games this year that the Heat attempted to turn on the defensive intensity, and the Knicks withstood it and eventually built their lead. The Knicks have a much better point guard rotation this year as opposed to last. In addition, once you withstand the defensive rush, you have the advantage over the Heat on the boards and that’s what kills them. The biggest thing that can hurt the Knicks in a series against the Heat is LeBron or Wade getting one of the 18-20 free throw attempt games. With the Bulls, Deng is healthy, and Noah has turned into a legit shotmaker. Boozer is also playing better, and they will have a rebounding advantage over either the Heat or the Knicks. With the addition of Rose coming back close to his level and the improvement of Noah, the Bulls can be a problem.
