Tiger Woods Owns Torrey Pines, But Will He Choke Like He Did on So Many Weekends in 2012?
All, Golf, Tiger Woods January 26th. 2013, 12:35pm
Stop me if you’ve heard this before: Tiger Woods appears to be back!
Tiger shot a blistering 7-under at Torrey Pines Friday, surging into the lead at the Farmers Insurance tournament.

You’ve probably never heard of the other four guys directly he behind them, so I won’t name them.
Anyway, Tiger tees off at 12:40 EST, and he’ll try to do what he couldn’t in 2012: Avoid a weekend choke. He was a gag artist on the weekend last year, but that was in majors.

Holy cow! A golf post!
But, find a golf writer. This isn’t a story. It’s an attempt to hate… again.
Tiger was sooo awful last year. He finished 2nd (gasp!) on the money list and 2nd in scoring average.
So, in his first foray of 2013, he leads after 2 rounds. But, please, continue the “He Sucks” story lines. It makes great copy.

Just turned on the golf channel and the fog on that course is ridiculous!`

Also, Tiger tees off at 12:40 PST, not EST.

Get a grip Wally. The only thing Tiger values is wins in Majors. Thus, the only thing that really matters about Tiger is his performance in majors. Nobody gives a crap about who finished first in scoring average or the money list, much less who the first loser was. Wins in regular tourneys at least can show he’s getting back on track for the important wins. If he’s not playing up to his own standards, why should ours for him be any different?

About an hour until we get the haughty Duffy post about Derrick Green.

Tiger is such a media god send. He wins= he’s BACK! He loses= he is a choker. The lazy stories just write themselves.
