I’d buy that in most cases. However, UK has seemed to regress in the last 3 weeks. I wonder if Cal is in danger of losing them, which would be awesome and completely fitting.

Maryland is their best win which will also be bubble bound. I also think Kentcuky will get in based on name recognition (I don’t care what the committee says about not using that as criteria) and they’ll sneak one of these games our against Missouri or Ole Miss. But I don’t think they’ll deserve it if that’s their resume.

This is exactly why I laughed when Mizzou said them going to the SEC might lure the SEC tourney to KC. The rational was that the Big 12 wouldn’t hold a their tourney in a state that doesn’t have a Big 12 team and the SEC would benefit. Anyhow, I haven’t heard any of that talk lately.

I was going to say as long as they get to the SEC tourney final they’re in no matter what, but I honestly don’t think I have ever seen one second of an SEC tourney game so it might not actually exist.

I’ve been to the tournament three times. It does exist, though it is mostly Kentucky fans buying up the tickets and doing their C-A-T-S Cats Cats Cats chant during the nearly empty Ole Miss vs. South Carolina, etc. games, with an occasional calling of the Hogs sprinkled in, randomly.
