I drove through Death Valley on way to California, August 1998. Was about 120. There is like 1 gas station in the middle of nowhere so if your car dies, you are fucked.

It’s gotta be a dry heat, right? I can take that anyday or this shit outside. Went for a walk at lunch. Had gloves, hat, etc on. Tips of fingers were frozen after 30 min. walk.

I think it’s easier to cool off from the heat and then it is get warm from extreme cold

/plus, hotter weather, less clothes for the women
