So…isn’t the bigger story who got him drunk? He’s 19, so he may have had some buddies already in school there who hooked him up. But it would be a bigger story if “taking him out for a good time” was part of his recruiting visit. I wonder how common that is.

That type of thing may fly in Miami, but I don’t know if it would be well received at UVA.

i always thought more players should try this out…why pay for a spot on a kicker when you can have an actual athlete play the position?

This was pretty much the standard until the 60s, right?

When they reviewed the mid-season finale, they announced they would not resume the weekly reviews when it returns. But they run reviews on umpteen “classic” shows that stopped airing decades ago. Nerds.

Shows that are only averaging 20-30 comments per review ain’t gonna stick around at the AV Club.

Taquan Mizzell, a senior at Bayside High in Virginia Beach, was on an official visit to the University of Virginia when he was arrested Sunday morning.

My junior high team in three years never attempted a field goal and always went for the 2-point conversion. I think our coach did not trust kickers.

High school, we had only straight-on kickers. Our coach did not trust soccer-style kickers.

I like this, theoretically they’d save more touchdowns tackling the runner than awkward flailing kicker would
