Really surprised JaQuon Parker hasn’t gotten better. I thought he was really coming on at the end of last year and ready to turn into a 15 and 6 guy from the guard spot. Instead he’s shooting worse from the floor and looks like this is his ceiling. Don’t know if t’s because the offense flows through Kilpatrick and Wright, the function of Cronin’s offense or his demeanor, but it’s been disappointing.

Parker’s just a hustler. He can get going at times but he was better last year when he kind of snuck up on people. Now they know his game and he’s being contained a lot easier. I think this team will make a run somewhere around Sweet 16 again because defensively you’re not going to find many better teams but like I said earlier, if Kilpatrick and Cash go cold, it’s over.

Regarding Mason Plumlee: I can definitely see him having a 7-10 year career in the league. Really good defender, outhustles people, has improved at the freethrow line, and half-decent post game.

If you have a solid skill set(he does) and are willing to bust your ass 85%+ of the time, you will always have a spot in the NBA. Those guys are much more talented than you but that talent allows them to loaf and you can take advantage of them. Looking at you Dwight Howard.
