Lindsey Vonn on the Cover of Outside Magazine, Preparing For World Championships
Lindsey Vonn is on the cover of the February issue of Outside Magazine. Vonn, who was admitted to the hospital in November for an intestinal illness, is gearing up for the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Austria next month. She got a tune-up last weekend, winning one downhill race and finishing seventh in another at a race in Italy. If you’re interested, Vonn wrote about the struggles of her comeback for the Denver Post.

One thing is for sure though. Casual fans do love the fallen stars, and it seems now more than ever, those falls are harder and more frequent, whether they are on a velodrome, a race track or the gridiron. The games on and off the field continue. Roeth
