Roosevelt Jones Stole the Ball and Beat the Buzzer and Butler Stunned Gonzaga, 64-63
Butler, playing without leading scorer Rotnei Clarke, stunned Gonzaga at the buzzer on this improbable Roosevelt Jones steal and prayer.
The thrower of that horrendous in-bounds pass? David Stockton, son of you-know-who. Jones got away with a massive push-off to get the steal, but hey, Butler’s going to get that call in Hinkle Fieldhouse. Make sure to check the reaction of Butler coach Brad Stevens, who celebrates by … not even unfolding his arms, turning, and walking to shake the hand of Mark Few while bedlam surrounds him.
The Bulldogs – who now have three wins over Top 10 teams – have won 13 in a row and are 16-2. They’ve got that Final Four look. Butler now has two pretty awesome buzzer-beating wins this season. The first came over Marquette in Maui:

- MLB Offered $125,000 to Original Whistleblower in Biogenesis Scandal, and He Didn’t Take It
- What is the NCAA Trying to Hide in the Todd McNair Case?
- Aaron Hernandez Was Sued Last Week For Shooting a Man after a Miami Strip Club Outing in February
- Marlon Williams, the Former Texas Tech LB & Real World Castmember, Has a Rap Video

Brad Stevens. Stone cold assassin. What a great day of hoops yesterday

As much as I’m bummed that BUT beat GONZ last nite, cause I bet on it!, it was a great game. Slept on it, and seeing the highlights from yesterday, it was a game between 2 school. Stevens is a class act.
It was a great afternoon/nite for hoops. UNC got it started with a nice win vs MD. Seems as though they are playing better Def and more people getting in the act of scoring and finding the guys who can score.
Looking forward to some great Conf. Champ games today.

Caribou – if your guy uses the final line from Bovada (at normal odds/vig), you might want to hop on BAL today. For some reason they are really just adjusting the odds, and not the line. Right now BAL is still getting 10 on the site, but Bovada is only paying -160

I’m going anti-public today. Taking ATL +5 and NE -10 (at +140). Under in the ATL/SF game, OVER in the NE/BAL game.
