Ballin’: LeBron Dunked All Over the Lakers, the Heat Are Fine, Thank You Very Much
LA Lakers 90, Miami 99: LeBron scored 39 points, dished out eight assists and collected seven rebounds in a quintessential LeBron performance. Check out this 60 second sequence in the first quarter: LeBron dunk, Wade dunk, LeBron steal, no-look pass to Wade for a dunk. LeBron had six dunks, the most he’s had in a game since 2009. Remember all that chatter about the Heat and minutes and shots and pouting earlier this week? They’re fine. The Lakers? Less so.
New York 102, Detroit 87: This game was played in London. Why? David Stern is a fool, that’s why. That being said, I love London. Have only had the fortune of spending one night there (stopover on the way back from a trip) but it was magical. The city was poppin’, and I love everything about the Brits – accents, lingo, soccer, beer, fish and chips. Carmelo scored 26; Detroit rookie Andre Drummond scored 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in 22 foul-plagued minutes.
LA Clippers 90, Minnesota 77: Do I wish I stuck with my pre-Howard trade prediction of the Clippers being the 2nd best team in the West? Yes. They’re 31-9 and won again without Chris Paul. The Clippers are 12-1 when Jamal Crawford, a reserve, leads them in scoring (he had 22). If you haven’t been paying attention, they’re winning with defense: 4th in opponents ppg (93.3), 5th in opponents FG percentage (43.1). There’s always next year, T-Wolves (16-20, losers of five straight).
Phoenix 98, Milwaukee 94: Larry Sanders keeps putting on a show – 19 points, 15 rebounds, two blocks, and the Bucks are two games above .500 after ending a 24-game losing streak (!) in the desert. Michael Beasley heat check: 2-of-10, five points in 15 minutes. So what contender who needs a bench boost is he getting traded?

Re: Beasley “So what contender who needs a bench boost is he getting traded(to)?”
No contender is messing with Beasley. No other teams are desperate for what he brings, which isn’t much but streak shooting right now, and the Lakers aren’t stupid enough to trade Gasol for him. I think.
Actually as a Raps fan I wouldn’t mind trading Bargn…Actually no, he’s not going anywhere. Get used to him PHX.

They did a job on the Wolves. It did help that the Wolves didn’t have Love to hit perimeter shots.
Forgot who said it last night (maybe Barkley), but Detroit does have some young up-and-coming talent. Drummond has so much potential.

I just don’t know how to respond to this. Love you, J-Mac

LeBron was unreal, just doing whatever he damn well pleased. Could have scored 70 if he wanted to. He blew by Dwight over and over like he was standing still. Kobe going to choke a bitch pretty soon.

That they do. He, Monroe and Knight could make for a nice core going forward. I wonder if Rudy Gay could fit in Detroit.

And as a semi-Rockets fan now that Harden is there, I hope they push to get Bargnani from Toronto.

I stayed up way past my bedtime to watch the 2nd half. Bron was in killer mode, as he was the night before. The best player in the game

The 3rd year of his deal isn’t guaranteed so only like 12 months more of him because by this time next year they will probably just keep sending him checks to go away.

I bag on the guy a lot here, but he’s very talented. There’s a lot of nights he can get you 20 pts & make it look easy.
If you’re looking for a two-way SF who can shut down opposing 3s, I don’t think he’s that guy. It appears he doesn’t have the fire to play in-your-face defense all game. He has moments defensively, but he also is prone to drifting.

I don’t like the man, but this statement is dumb. The NFL going to London is foolish. Europe is already basketball crazy, cultivating England, to add on to the work they’ve done in other parts of Europe and Asia is genius.

Well, when Lebron is playing his best game of the year they’re fine. Wade’s looking slow right now. Probably waiting for the playoffs for his next HGH cycle. He knows the one seed is a lock.

It’s already been commented on, but this trolling is gold.
