Disagree on this- there was a plethora of information presented that was not necessarily conclusive, but certainly damning. Intelligent individuals can draw their own conclusions. The point remains, they are the only ones that opened their eyes and did some actual research.

The biggest lesson that needs to come from this is twitter or other social networks aren’t for everyone. You have to be careful of who or the number of people you allow into your life, especially if you lack the social sophistication and experiences that would allow you to discern what’s coming at you.

Not sure I follow you. I think the story was fairly developed, and then all that we were told by the “big boys” over the last few months was exposed to not be true. “Some blog” was the only one that took time to actually look into some things that weren’t adding up. I don’t take any thrill in this, but I thought the Deadspin piece was fairly responsible, exhaustively researched, and on most levels, appropriate.
