Matt Dellavedova Hit a Game-Winning, Double-Clutch Buzzer-Beater Against BYU [Video]

Tough day for Mormon sports fans. BYU suffered a heartbreaking loss to St. Mary’s last night. Matt Dellavedova hit a leaning 3 at the buzzer to beat the Cougars in Provo. The shot came after BYU’s Taylor Haws hit a tough shot to put BYU up 69-67 with just 2.5 seconds remaining. Dellavedova finished with 18 points and 8 assists. Stephen Holt (Steve Holt!?) pitched in 22 for the Gaels who are now 14-4 on the season.

Stephen – careful dude, I’m a Mormon sports fan and much prefer the SDSU Aztecs over BYU. Don’t pigeonhole all us Mormons as BYU fanatics.
