Manti Te’o: Thankful For the Support of His “Girlfriend’s Family” [Video]

Manti Te’o gave an emotional interview following Notre Dame’s September 15th win over Michigan State. ESPN’s Heather Cox spoke with Te’o about the loss of his grandmother and girlfriend that week. Te’o was thankful for the support of his family, his girlfriend and his girlfriend’s family. Those people did not exist.

He’s not a victim whatsoever. He’s the one that said they met at Stanford, he’s the one that said they vacationed together, he’s the one that told everyone she was in a wreck. Even in that scenario, he was told by her brother, who also doesn’t exist.

Also, I’d like to add that if I was going to make up a fake girlfriend, I probably wouldn’t enroll her at a world renown University. I’d probably go with University of Phoenix Online.

Not sure about the normal part, takes a pretty whacked out and desperate person to be involved in this but I do agree, people will forgive, or forget, either way people will move past it.
