North Carolina to Celebrate ACC Coastal Triumph With Awesome Billboard
North Carolina finished tied with three teams atop the ACC Coastal with a 5-3 conference record. Ineligible with self-imposed sanctions, the Tar Heels did not compete in the ACC Title Game. Neither fact will stop UNC from celebrating this feat on a billboard. Shameless. ACC Football.

Anyone else watch this show?
January 15th, 2013 at 1:10 PM
Gossip lady at work is out of control today. I truly hate even looking at her.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:14 PM
Good for them.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:15 PM
Hmmm..
January 15th, 2013 at 1:15 PM
that looks more like lane kiffykins than larry fedora.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:16 PM
No more shameless than ND declaring itself the best team in the country
January 15th, 2013 at 1:16 PM
No, but I heard William H. Macy overacts like whoa on that show. Emmy Rossum also gets naked a lot.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:18 PM
Showtime had a free preview last night, but I chose to start Homeland instead. Needless to say, I’ll be burning through those first two seasons as soon as humanly possible. What a show.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:21 PM
First season was incredible. I have not seen the 2nd one yet, but I heard it goes off of the rails.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:21 PM
How exactly are they “shameless?”
Do you know them? Do you play in their conference?
You print a statement like that on the internet, you better have a reason and I’d like to know what it is.

I watched the last couple of episodes of Season 2 and the Season 3 premier. Also Wiki’d it to catch up. Not terrible. Pretty entertaining.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:23 PM
The ACC didn’t recognize it though did they?
January 15th, 2013 at 1:24 PM
The crazy thing to me is this is going up in Charlotte, where literally nobody gives a shit about college football.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:26 PM
Google search is an incredible time saver. Very impressive, hadn’t heard of her. That said, I will not watch a moment of Shameless
January 15th, 2013 at 1:27 PM
This ought to set off the UNC message board hate for TBL again.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:27 PM
Except all of the UGA grads who move there for finance jobs. But they see this and laugh.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:29 PM
TBL should be doing flips if this first round mock plays out.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:30 PM
I remember when I started Homeland a couple months ago and felt the same way after the first few episodes. Oh how things change.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:30 PM
**Immediately becomes interested**

1. At the offensive skill positions this draft is terrible
2. Draft like this just take best player regardless of need
3. Eddie Lacy is a complete steal at 16
4. [Stupid Name] Patterson is the best WR in the draft
5. Despite being a cunty retard Eifert could go higher
6. Te’o will not go in the first round
January 15th, 2013 at 1:33 PM
ni kidding since there would be 0 chance JJ slips past the browns
January 15th, 2013 at 1:35 PM
You think? I’ll be curious to see what the medical exams do for JJ’s status. He’s been fine at UGA, but the NFL always flips out on any little thing. If he checks out he’ll go very high.
I’d take that bet.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:35 PM
I want Atlanta to take him in the 2nd round and then package Roddy.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:36 PM
browns need LB/CB more than anything in this draft IMO
January 15th, 2013 at 1:36 PM
Spinoff of Gossip Girl? That would please the EIC.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:37 PM
I don’t know about that. I’d imagine he gets picked anywhere from late late 1st to late 2nd round.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:37 PM
$50 through paypal, American. I wager that Te’o gets drafted after pick 32.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:38 PM
A league that will make Matt Barkley and Landry Jones first-round picks is also dumb enough to make Teo a first-rounder.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:40 PM
You mean Johncon C. Smith doesn’t sell out all its home games?!
Can’t wait to see the crowds when UNC Charlotte unveils its football program.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:41 PM
First thing I thought of with the Shameless.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:42 PM
Yet another worthless comment from ohheelyeah.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:43 PM
You need to invite the UNC athletic director to your favorite dive bar for a tete-a-tete.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:43 PM
All depends on his 40. Teams just don’t take back that highly unless you get a T-Rich or AP. Lacy might be fantastic, but I would bet he goes in the last 5-10 picks, especially because Gio Bernard will be higher rated by most teams.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:46 PM
Sigh. I remember the days before Gil Brandt got senile. Tell the RN, he’s spitting out his meds again.
A number of the teams haven’t ID’d their DC’s yet. Hard to draft linemen and assigning value without knowing if a team is running a 4-3, 3-4 or hybrid.
I’d love to see the Browns pick up a 2nd or 3rd and move down 10-15 spots.
/starting to think WR is not out of play there for CLE if they can slide down
//new HC’s usually get a player on their preferred side of the ball in first draft.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:46 PM
I imagine that it brought several laughs. You need to learn that not everyone is going to love you and the things you love as much as your mommy does.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:48 PM
1) Witnessed
2) Make sure Soused pays the entire amount at once.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:48 PM
YES PLEASE DAMONTE MOORE!!!
January 15th, 2013 at 1:48 PM
Doubtful.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:50 PM
i, for one, did not laugh at that ND dig.
i would’ve laughed it was something along the lines of “no more shameless than ND paying charlie weis in mcdoubles.”
January 15th, 2013 at 1:50 PM
I would love to see Lacy end up with the Falcons or Steelers.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:50 PM
UNC grad here, if they bought that billboard on a tee, I’d wear it.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:50 PM
If Ingram was a first-rounder, Lacy is definitely a first-rounder.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:51 PM
Oh, and J-Mac, even though we finished tied with three other teams, we won the tie breaker, so we were the champs! WOOOOOOOOOOO
January 15th, 2013 at 1:54 PM
Me, too. I mean, ATL isn’t getting a stud DT or DE at 29-32, so you might as well fill a big need (RB) and take Lacy or Bernard if they’re available.
January 15th, 2013 at 1:55 PM
I lauhged
January 15th, 2013 at 1:56 PM
my typing is terrible today
January 15th, 2013 at 2:04 PM
Nada is right. Ingram, Richardson, Lacy. All 1st rounders or soon to be for Lacy.
January 15th, 2013 at 2:05 PM
I would love to see Lacy end up with the Falcons or Steelers.
He doesn’t attack women enough to be an impact player for the steelers.
January 15th, 2013 at 2:06 PM
I think he’ll be a first rounder as well. I just don’t think he’ll go 16th and I certainly don’t think he goes over Bernard.
January 15th, 2013 at 2:07 PM
lacy’s good, but i dont think he’s in richardson or ingram’s class.
January 15th, 2013 at 2:07 PM
Ooks ok to me;scripty
January 15th, 2013 at 2:11 PM
I like him better than Ingram.
January 15th, 2013 at 2:14 PM
Bernard/Lacy
Patterson
OL
That’s what I want ATL to look for. They need DL help, but I don’t think they would get a good value at 30 at DL. Someone said this earlier, but this draft screams best player available with each pick thanks to the QBs being so bad.
January 15th, 2013 at 2:21 PM
to be fair, i didnt think ingram was worth a first rounder either.
January 15th, 2013 at 2:22 PM
the QB’s in this draft aren’t just bad, it’s a bad draft all around ever since lewan and matthews decided to stick around.
