Rivers has been extremely poor so far. Not surprising for a 19-year old. Slightly surprising for someone recognized as the best player on a Duke team.

Plumlee was better, but didn’t have the hype. Rivers isn’t a great athlete, which is why I’m surprised he was drafted so high, but reputation will get you far sometimes

Rivers has been extremely poor so far. Not surprising for a 19-year old. Slightly surprising for someone recognized as the best player on a Duke team. He’s had moments and even a game or two where he looks like he could be figuring it out and the it goes away. Right now, he’s not only behind Gordon, but behind Greivis Vasquez, Brian Roberts and Roger Mason in the guard rotation.
