Uh, whoops? Hasn’t been a good week for announcers in big spots. If you thought Dan Dierdorf struggled Saturday calling the Broncos/Ravens thriller, I can assure you, Brian Billick made Dierdorf sounds like Kirk Herbstreit in Atlanta’s heart-stopping 30-28 victory.

What was even dumber is when he was talking about Seattle maybe trying a FG down 6 with less than a minute left, and then try an onside.

I had to rewind to make sure that was what he was saying. He said they should try a 40-ish yard field goal, then on-side kick, then try to get back in field goal range in like 30 seconds.
If the Eagles people were listening…that had to at least give them pause..right?
