Big week for Scott Hartnell of the Philadelphia Flyers: First, the NHL lockout ends, and now, he’s hanging out (again) with Philadelphia’s It Weather Girl, Sheena Parveen. From Dan Gross at Philly.com:

Flyers wing Scott Hartnell and NBC1O meteorologist Sheena Parveen had drinks together Wednesday night at the Irish Pub (20th & Walnut).

Parveen was also seen hanging with Hartnell in the VIP area at Dusk at Caesars in November after the Operation Hat Trick charity game he organized at Boardwalk Hall to benefit Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

For the 94.8 percent of you reading this outside of Philly, Parveen seems to be on the cusp of national stardom. Besides ravishing good looks (which the Philadelphia media has certainly noticed), by all accounts she’s normal and doesn’t crave the spotlight. Also, she went to Florida State.

Hartnell is popular with fans, and you may remember he was rumored to have hooked up with one of his teammates’ wives back in 2009, a claim he denied. When I finally run into her, I plan on saying, “Oh, Sheena.” You know, like the terrific 80s song, “Oh, Sheila.” Because I’m sure she’s never heard that one.
