im not saying weeden’s a stud or is gonna be good, but he’s not beck/weinke and he’s got a system now that he should do well in and his age really has dick to do with that.

I agree that he’s not beck/weinke but I don’t think he’s much better than that. Personally, a more accurate Henne is the comp for me and that’s not enough unless that defense becomes elite. I had some faith with Heckert on that starting with this draft, but at this point I don’t think that we can count on additional elite personnel on the team. I warned people about that Banner hiring, its going to ruin a good thing.

They still fleeced them, though. They got a shitty QB and don’t have those picks. Cincy not making good picks doesn’t mean the deal wasn’t a total fleecing because it definitely was.

That being said, I think the Vikings should go for it.
