This is exactly why sportswriters (that old and out of touch with reality) should not be on the list of people who vote the players into the HOF. In fact, he probably one of those Ass Clowns who enjoyed baseball during the time the players where bulking up and hitting massive home runs and probably wrote very great things about the ballplayers back then and since it come to light that baseball players used steroids he NOW wants to punish them. What gives this idiot that right to play to judge and jury? Get rid of the Bum!!!

Raging hypocrisy

The league and players helped create this mess and have opened themselves up to the slippery slope arguments. Obviously the writers have taken their stand. Personally, I don’t think the Hall of Fame should celebrate cheaters, but the issue is clear as mud and it’s impossible to draw a line in the sand.

The argument that Clemens and Bonds were cleared in court is moot unless you believe OJ busy in his jail cell looking for the real killers.
