Median home price in Williamson County: $343,000 (an astounding number for TN)

For those unfamiliar, it’s the county just South of Nashville, where all the big country music stars, athletes, or other big shots (Dave Ramsey, CEOs of companies, mizerle06 is sarah phillips, etc) live, because you can get large houses in gated areas.

If you are in south Nashville, you get to pick a lot of good options. Northern Nashville is a little slim. You thinking public or private?

Much prefer public, but willing to go private if I have to. We’re like .5 miles from Williamson County, so very South Nashville. I guess I’ve got 14 years before worrying about high schools, and elementary schools aren’t as important (assuming you have involved/proactive parents), but I worry about it.

I don’t consider Wilson County as having money. I imagine the median home price in Williamson to be over $200K, maybe greatly so.

Judging by wikipedia they had some fierce basketball teams in the sixties and seventies because they produced a few Olympic players, go figure.
