I have yet to see a kid at a press conference with five hats in front of him, pick one up, place it on his head, and say “I’m going to “X” State because Lee Corso once put on a mascot head in their parking lot.

Seriously? That’s what you think I meant? If your school is getting 2 games or so as the Gameday game that means you’re getting an insane amount of free advertising for your school the week leading up to the game and on game day. Coaches sell that to kids. They talk about being on TV in the marquee spots. So does it help? Of course it does. Saying otherwise if fucking retarded.
