Neither of the injuries in the Seattle game had ANYTHING to do with him running around and taking hits.

But they were a result of the hit he took against Baltimore.

It sucks, but everyone saw something like this coming the way the Skins just let him run around and take tons of hits all year. Most thought it would be something with a concussion type injury given the type of hits he was taking, but an ACL tear isn’t that surprising either. It’s a shame, but we all saw it coming.

Hopefully he won’t be the same. Maybe this will force the skins from running him so much, and making him pass more. I get him running on broken pass plays, but maybe tap the breaks on 4-5 called qb runs a game. Worked well at Baylor.

I’m torn between really loving this guy and really hating the Redskins and wishing them ill for their stupidity, and cavalier attitude about this guy’s health.

There’s no way to get what I want here, so I’ll wish Bob good luck, and a speedy recovery. And that Dallas plays washington weeks 1 and 4 next year.

They saying on the radio that it was the same knee in college and it was the repaired part (patella graph?) that tore.

When I tore my ACL they used the patella -graph as well. The 2nd time I tore it, they used a cadaver ACL. For him being a 1st class athlete (unlike myself, of course), why wouldnt they go the cadaver ACL right off the bat? My patella graph tore within 5 years, but my 2nd time, it’s held up great.

You’d think they’d make sure they gave him the best chance of continuing his career as an athlete and give him the cadaver ligament

Hope the ‘Skins tweak their offensive philosophy to lessen injury risk to Griffin. Player has a fairly thick medical file for one so young.

I would hate to see his career end prematurely because the genius coach kept exposing him to greater risk of getting busted up.

Hope they take their time with Griffin with his recovery. No need to rush this young man back.

This. Please, please do a first rate job docs. Then do first rate post op recovery, first rate rehab, nutrition, the whole 9. If you have to miss a few games so be it. If you have to miss half or even a full season, it would suck, but if that meant RG3 at 100%, so be it… But that’s just me…
