Referee Billy Kennedy Tells Gregg Popovich and Mike D’Antoni He is “Stalling For Commercial Time” [Video]
This is a new one. During the Lakers – Spurs game, there was confusion over whether or not there was a 20-second timeout or a full timeout taken. Referee Billy Kennedy thought ESPN went to commercial, but by rules couldn’t let the teams go back to the bench. So he joked with the coaches and stalled. It was honest and real so we will probably never see anything like this again and Billy Kennedy will probably disappear forever.
