I have a hard time blaming either Shanny or Griffin. How does Shanny know when to pull Griffin? How do you make that choice? This rookie QB who will be great and he’s fought for you and carried this team to the playoffs! How do you know when to pull him? Would you be able to walk that fine line to make that call? Shanny is asking Griffin if he can go because Griffin earned that right the way he played and toughed it out. Griffin on the other hand is telling his coach he can go. Griffin was never going to quit on his coach and his team. The skins were in this game into the 4th quarter and both of them were playing for the win.

How do you make that call?

Redskins got an MRI. Andrews can see it in DC or Birmingham with today’s technology. There is nothing to be gained from going to Birmingham. All NFL teams must have a season ending press conference. Now the Skins have done that. Now they don’t have to answer any further questions from the media regarding whether he should or should not have been playing.

Mike Shanahan held his Monday press conference, and stated that Griffin III will travel to Alabama for further testing with James Andrews.

Shanny will then have RGIII run shuttle drills until he collapses, just to be on the safe side.
