Darnell Dockett Tweeted His Phone Number to AJ McCarron’s Girlfriend Katherine Webb, and Even it Was a Joke, Bravo, Darnell

AJ McCarron’s girlfriend, Katherine Webb, was popular before the BCS Title game … and then cameras focused on her, Brent Musburger raved about her, and boom, she’s the story of a boring game.

The internet, as it is wont to do, went wild. Athletes raved. One of them: Aaron Murray, the QB of Georgia. Arizona Cardinals defensive end Darnell Dockett took it a step further and dropped his digits to Webbon twitter. Some claim this was a joke, but either way, I found it a fantastic use of twitter:

The area code is from the DC area (mailbox is full), but Dockett is familiar with DELMARVA and spends time there every offseason.

Did he really tweet out his real phone number? Sounds like he is changing his number tomorrow. It would have been funnier if he had tweeted Johnathon Manziel’s number. Seeing how McCarron/Manziel will be the story all off-season up until they play next year.
