I have a dog who does the exact same thing. When my brother and I used to play basketball in the driveway of my parents’ house, she couldn’t be outside because she would try and steal the ball. It would look just like this. She would push it around the yard and bark at it and when she would stop she would be kind of be on top of it, looking like she was trying to hug the ball. It was adorable.
