I actually go to Holy Cross High school still right know as a senior which is where he went for high school in New Orleans! It sucks that he is getting a bad rap right now because the story is not out of what actually happened! My teachers know the story because the university called our school and told them what had happened! I was in several classes with Eugene for my junior year and his senior year last year! He was a very quiet kid and kept to himself he was a good friend of mine and never got into any trouble or had a drug problem! He was a good basketball player also and was all district! Some of my teachers told us that the university told our school that his drink at the bar was apparently spiked with a hormone that makes you rage and was put in there by one of his teammates he got mad at the teammate and told him it was gonna show up on the teams weekly drug test! When he went to punch the other player, the kid moved his girlfriend to protect him and he accidentally hit her instead of the teammate! It really does suck that this is the truth and no one knows abou it!!

The story suggests Bray was teasing/mocking Lawrence and he hit her in response to that. Whether it was a woman or man teasing him, you don’t hit someone over words. You just don’t, that’s not what adults do. Hell…. even most young children know not to do that.

This isn’t a violence-against-women issue, it appears to be a violent person issue.
