Richard Sherman of the Seahawks Provided the Best (Most Puzzling?) Quote of Wild Card Week
Here’s Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman – alleged PED user, Tom Brady trash-talker – on Sunday’s Wild Card game against the Redskins (4:30 pm, FOX):
“Everybody has haters,” Sherman said. “People think Jesus didn’t exist. They think he wasn’t a miracle worker. There are people who say he didn’t walk on water, or he only walked on water because he couldn’t swim. Those people’s opinions mean dirt to me.”
I … I … I got nothin’. [Quote via USA Today Sports]

In a stunning coincidence, Richard Sherman’s opinions of religion mean dirt to me
Hail to the Racists!

Speed typically makes you ramble incoherently, just ask ohheelyeah.

sounds like veiled reverse racism, assuming jesus was black, and i think in richard’s version he is.

And if Sherman was a true Christian he and his team wouldn’t have accepted that false victory that was granted to them in Week 3…I cast thee out, hypocrites

he only walked on water because he couldn’t swim.
I am unable to fly a plane so I just teleport.

I’m not really sure where an olive-skinned semite falls within the American white-black dialectic. I assume chickens continue to be fucked

Thanks!

He probably looked like an unkempt Uday Hussein.

wasn’t Jesus technically born in Palestine?
January 4th, 2013 at 5:52 PM
Apparently Sherman didn’t take physics at Stanford.
/hopes walking on water would fall under physics

Jesus Walking on the Water by Violent Femmes is a fantastic song. But then again all their songs are great.

An inability to swim must have been common among Jews of antiquity. I mean, Jesus’s dad had to part the Red Sea for that same reason, right?

Jesus Out to Sea by James Lee Burke is a great collection of stories.

Some outlets reporting Kelly to Browns is being wrapped up now. YEAHH.

Holy shit twitter exploded on that. Hope this isn’t David Dunn playing things out. Haslam was already backing up the armored car full of cash so not sure if how that would happen.

Not familiar with this. Will have to check it out.
I watched a doc about Rowdy Toddy Piper the other day on Netflix. They interviewed John Carpenter and talked about They Live. It was just OK.
A theatre by my place is showing They Live next week complete with free bubble gum and sunglasses. The ads for it had hidden messages in them. I might go. My favorite movie besides maybe The Exorcist.

Or Roddy. Either way.

This is hilariously stupid.

There you go Jason. There’s your worst to first for next year.
BROWNS.
January 4th, 2013 at 6:21 PM
I am jealous.
January 4th, 2013 at 6:42 PM
Browns should trade for Pryor.
January 4th, 2013 at 8:11 PM
Jesus was black?
Of course the Browns hire the most obvious college-to-pro flop in years, its what they do.
