It takes me losing a lot of my winnings before I’ll walk away, but I always end the trip playing $100 a hand for as long as I can. For many that’s probably chump change, but for me it’s an intense hand.

I’m out there for a conference/trade show that’s in Mandalay’s convention center. There’s a shit ton of bars restaurants there. If I get bored, I’ll get on the tram that runs to Excalibur, and hop across the street to NYNY or MGM.

Last time I was in New Orleans we found a Wheel of Fortune machine and won $4000 on our 4th pull. Hilarious. And a buddy of mine is down with the Asians. That was going to happen anyway.

Make your pass line bet. If a point number is rolled, back up your pass line bet with whatever the maximum is they’ll allow. Ignore all the other shit that’s on the table.

Hang out at any bar in MGM Grand and play Spot The Hooker.

We played “hooker or no hooker.” That was fun, but nothing topped when we started betting on ages of women at the bar. We’d set the over/under and then ask them for ID. They ate it up.

I hate clubs, but if that’s your thing Cosmopolitan hotel is supposedly nice. To be honest, I’ve never been when there wasn’t a big sporting event going on, so I don’t know what the hell people do if they aren’t betting or yelling at the tv due to betting.

afc/nfc title game day is one of the best days to be in vegas. definitely better than super bowl. super bowl brings the posers into town by the fuckload. title game day is the last for football fans there.

We’re doing Lagasse’s Stadium for the first game. $100 minimum per person which we’re gonna blow through by the end of the first half. Then I want to go find a tamer book to watch the second game of the day.
