Why aren’t reality cameras following around the San Antonio Spurs? If they focused exclusively on the relationship between Stephen Jackson and Gregg Popovich, I’m certain people would watch. (Of secondary interest: Tony Parker’s girlfriend.) Hell, make it an online TV show – those are all the rage now, right?

Witness this exchange between the two from a few days ago, courtesy of the Star-Telegram:

“Jack’s a pain in the (butt),” Popovich said. “Look at him, all he does is twitters.

“He’s twittering some stuff right now that’ll probably get him fined, and then I’ve got to call the league and talk to the league and say, ‘Yeah, I talked to him.’ ”

Jackson then chimed in and said: “It’s not Twitter. It’s Instagram.”

Pop went on to say Jackson stays at his home to keep him out of trouble – like the kind he got into as a Pacer – but that had to be a joke. Right? [Star Telegram]
