There is SEC speed and then there’s DAT. Oregon’s speed merchant DeAnthony Thomas took the opening kickoff back 94 yards for a touchdown. Oregon went for two. Chip Kelly looks poised to leave a lasting impression on college football, burn marks.

This Kansas State fan had the appropriate reaction, part pissed and part incredulous.

Paused the Thomas run, called wife over to see it. She’s a football fan, but not a big one, and thought it was one of the fastest TD runs she’s seen.

Thomas ran 94 yards in just over ten seconds. In football gear making 2 cuts. That’s crazy fast.
