So I’m heading up to Portland/Mt. Hood for a vacation this weekend. I’m planning on stopping by the Rogue brewery, but any other suggestions on dining, beer, or ski options?

In order, I would go to these OVER a trip to Rogue:

Hair of the Dog
Cascade
Deschutes

These three breweries alone make some of the best beers in the country, if not the world. I could go into minute detail about what to sample, but it should go without saying you are looking at world class stouts, sours, old ales, and porters. Also, it never hurts to check out the local bottle shops.

In Malibu, I doubt it. Let this be a lesson to all you landlords out there. Don’t let a Sterling live in your building. They tend to shoot people and die in the apartments. Terrible tenants
